Explore the fundamentals of Yin Yoga based on the holistic model of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The course will be taught in English with French translation.
An ancient medicinal system, TCM is an inclusive web of healing modalities that address our entire being including the body, mind, and spirit. In TCM, there are twelve regular meridians and eight extraordinary meridians. While the regular meridians are used for healing purposes, the extraordinary meridians are mainly for spiritual pursuit.
In this training, you’ll learn the fundamentals of Chinese medicine and Yin yoga including the Five Elements, Three Treasures, Chinese meridian system, healing sounds & colors, Yin Yang organs and their associated emotions. As well, we will show you how to infuse the elements of Qi Gong and acupressure points into your practice.
In today's fast-paced world, Yin Yoga is increasingly in demand as more people are suffering from stress, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and physical ailments. Learn in this training how to remove toxicity from our lives and create a sacred sanctuary in the temple of our body and mind.
Yin Yoga is also a sustaining self-practice that you can do regardless of age, ability and other conditions. Yin Yoga compliments perfectly to high-intensity yoga such as Ashtanga or Power yoga.
This course is ideal for those who express deep interest in cultivating equanimity in the body, mind, and spirit. We recommend applicants have at least six months of regular yin yoga practice before joining us.
